Leatherhead marks the eastern edge of our patch, about twenty five minutes from the showroom through the lanes or round the M25, and together with Ashtead and Bookham it keeps one of our fitting teams busy most months.
The town centre terraces and the older cottages out towards the villages have proper working chimneys, many of them swept by us year after year, and when one of those open fires gives way to a wood burner the flue usually needs no more than a liner and a correctly sized stove. The newer developments without chimneys take a twin wall system instead, run neatly up an outside wall, and we survey for both at no charge.
Because sweeping and gas fire servicing run on the same round as fitting, a Leatherhead stove from us comes with its aftercare attached, the same engineers, year after year.
